The most fun tire swing, I think, is the horizontal tire swing. This one is most often supported by three chains. Fasten the chain to the tire with U-bolts or eye bolts. At the top use S-hooks to fasten to a ring attached to some sort of swivel mechanism. The commercial unit use a universal joint as well as a bearing allowing rotation. The simplest approach would be to tie the ring to a rope and tie the rope to the support beam.
