Wooden Handles Don't Last Forever
Over the life of the tools they need to be replaced several times.
If you're lucky you con find a replacement handle at the local hardware store.
If you can't then it's time to make your own.
The wood you choose is important. Hickory has been a favorite for generations with I guess ash being a close second.
You'll want the grain in the wood to be as straight as possible so that the new handle is less likely to break.
