Dude,, that is not a true wooden chain,,, come on, splitting the nlock to glue the links together,,, I have carved my chains without splitting the links,,not thats imoressive not break a link and glue it between links,,, and a true wooden chain
So it looks like the nail is not perfectly straight anymore. Thus meaning he must have bent the nail at 90 degree angles along a few points to shove the nail in and then straighten it back out.
